Roles and responsibilities of prehospital care providers
Gain insights into casualty assessment, emergency care equipment, and patient documentation. Understand the importance of consent and universal precautions in your practice.

Incident assessment and control
Learn dynamic risk assessment and initial scene management techniques. Master the primary survey (<C>ABCDE), levels of consciousness, and the secondary survey using the SAMPLE and SOCRATES approaches.

Catastrophic bleeding
Develop skills in managing severe bleeding through direct and indirect pressure, trauma dressings, and tourniquet application.

Airway management
Explore airway anatomy and methodologies while practising techniques such as head tilt-chin-lift and jaw thrust. Be prepared to handle choking scenarios and perform CPR across different age groups.

A fantastically located hotel, steeped in history. The Rugby Hotel really is nestled right in the centre of Rugby. You can step right out of the front door and you are welcomed with a host of lovely independent restaurants, pubs and coffee shops, the hotel is right next to the famous Rugby School and is a short drive away from the NEC and DIRFT.

Easy access from the M1, M6 and A14 makes this location ideal for travellers or local attendees.

The Rugby Hotel also provides accomodation during our courses (not included in course fee), and can be booked directly with the hotel here.

Parking

Parking is available at the Chapel Street Car Park. this is attached to the Asda and Swan Centre Shopping Centre car park which is less than 2 minutes walk from the hotel, this is offered at £5 per day.

The car park is accessible via Corporation Street, park your car in any space on the upper parts of the carpark, avoid parking in the lower section due to time restrictions.

To get to the carpark simply enter CV21 3EB in to your satnav or use what three words //sober.giving.silver

This service is offered by Horizon Parking and must be paid for upon arrival at the carpark.
